Eligibility Criteria for STGT
Educational Qualification:
Graduate/Post Graduate with 50% marks + B.Ed (NCTE recognized)
OR
Graduate/Post Graduate with 45% marks + B.Ed (as per NCTE 2002/2007 norms)
OR
4-year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed (NCTE recognized)
Relaxation: 5% for SC/ST/PH candidates
Age Limit:
Up to 40 years as of 29.08.2025
Relaxation: +5 years for SC/ST/PH & Govt. servants (not beyond the general limit), as per norms for Ex-Servicemen
Salary for STGT
Fixed Pay: ₹20,475 per month (75% of basic pay, Level-9, Tripura State Pay Matrix 2018)
