Tripura High Court released a new vacancy to recruit Lower Division Clerks (LDC) and Personal Assistants (PA). LDC and PA are both group C-level clerical and desk jobs. Any graduate can apply for these posts.

1. Personal assistance (PA) Junior grade
Number of Vacancies-
Total of 4 (Four) vacancies. 2 for the General category, 1 for SC, and for the ST category are released.
Salary for PA post-
This is a regular post. Pay band 2, Rs. 5700-24000 with a grade pay of Rs 2800. In simple words, the starting salary will be around Rs 33,000/month approximately, and other allowances as per govt rule and regulation.

Educational Qualifications for PA-
For a PA in Tripura, the following essential educational qualifications are required. other requirement.
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized college/university
- Must have passed a provisional speed of 100 words/minute in shorthand 9English) and typing speed of at least 60 words per minute on a computer from a recognized institution.
- Certificate in computer education in a course with a minimum duration of 06 months.
Interview or viva
Candidates who clear the written exam have to go through an interview test. This interview is of 15 marks and is only to assess the overall personality of the candidate.
Shorthand and Typing test for PA
This is an important test for the final selection. This is a skill-based test and requires proper qualification and training.
This test is a total of 100 marks. The candidate must be highly skilled and trained before going through the test. In this test, candidates have to take dictation at a rate of 100 words per minute and a typing speed of at least 60 words per minute on a computer.
2. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in Tripura High Court
Number of Vacancies for LDC in the Tripura High Court
10 (ten) (UR-04, ST-03, SC-03). (05 posts on regular scale & 05 posts on fixed pay basis). Fixed pay means for the first year, 75% of the salary one will get, and after that, all the benefits of a regular employee will be given.
Salary for LDC Post
Regular scale Pay Band-2, Rs. 5700-24000/- and Grade Pay Rs 2200/- (Unrevised).
Fixed pay Rs. 16,050/-(per month) in the Pay Band-2, Rs. 5700- 24000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2200/- (Unrevised).
For the first 5 years, you will be under fixed pay, which means you will get 75% of your total salary.

Educational Qualification for LDC
Lower division clerk is a group C-level post and requires the following educational qualifications,
- Graduation in any stream from a recognized university
- Computer knowledge with at least typing speed of 30 words per minute.
- Certificate in computer education in a course of a minimum duration of six months.
Interview or viva
Selected candidates after clearing the written test will go through a personal interview screening test. This is to check the candidate’s personality. This interview will have total 15 marks.
Shorthand and Typing Test for LDC
The candidate must be computer-savvy with a typing speed of at least 30 words per minute on a computer. Total 50 marks.
Age Limit-
Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years for UR (as of 02.01.2025).
The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for Government Servants, S/C, S/T.
Fees
The fee for UR category applicants is Rs. 400/- (Rupees four hundred only).
For reserved category (SC/ST) applicants, it is Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only).
