90-Day Study Plan for Tripura FSO 2025
I have divided these 90 days into 3 phases for better understanding. I also set a small weekly target to make it more interesting.
Phase 1: Foundation Building (Day 1–30)
Focus: Understand all topics, build strong basics.
Daily Schedule (6–8 hrs/day):
- 3 hrs: Core FSO Subjects (Food Laws, Food Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.)
- 1.5 hrs: General Awareness (History/Polity/Current Affairs daily)
- 1 hr: Reasoning/English/Computer (alternate daily)
- 30 min: Revision of the previous day’s topics
- 30 min: MCQs practice
Weekly Target:
- Week 1: Indian & International Food Laws + General Awareness (Polity Basics)
- Week 2: Food Safety & Quality Management (GMP, HACCP, etc.) + Reasoning
- Week 3: Food Preservation & Processing + Food Chemistry Basics (Macro/Micro nutrients)
- Week 4: Food Microbiology (Pathogens, Spoilage, Diseases) + General Awareness (Economy + Current Affairs)
Phase 2: Advanced Coverage (Day 31–60)
Focus: Deeper understanding, interlinking concepts, and more practice.
Daily Schedule (7–9 hrs/day):
- 3 hrs: Advanced FSO Subjects (Food Additives, Contaminants, Food Analysis & Testing, Lab Methods)
- 1.5 hrs: General Awareness (History, Geography, Constitution, Science & Tech)
- 1 hr: English (Grammar + Comprehension)
- 1 hr: Reasoning (Puzzles, Series, Judgment)
- 30 min: Computer Literacy basics
- 1 hr: MCQs + Previous Year Papers
Weekly Target:
- Week 5: Food Chemistry (Additives, Contaminants, Enzymes, Allergens) + English Grammar
- Week 6: Food Analysis & Testing + QA/QC Techniques + Reasoning Practice

- Week 8: Mix of all FSO subjects + Current Affairs revision
Phase 3: Revision + Mock Tests (Day 61–90)
Focus: Revision + exam temperament.
Daily Schedule (8–10 hrs/day):
- 3 hrs: Full Syllabus Revision (rotate subjects daily)
- 2 hrs: General Awareness + Current Affairs (last 6 months)
- 1 hr: English + Reasoning practice
- 30 min: Computer practice
- 2 hrs: Mock Test (every alternate day) + Analysis
Weekly Target:
- Week 9: Revise Food Laws, Safety, Preservation
- Week 10: Revise Food Chemistry, Microbiology, Analysis & Testing

Important To Note
Make short notes for FSS Act, Codex, WTO, HACCP, GMP → revise daily.
For GA → focus on Tripura-specific GK + National Current Affairs.
Practice MCQs + PYQs for Food Tech + GS daily.
Last 10 days → do only mock tests + quick revisions.
