Eligibility Criteria for Ward Secretary
Educational Qualification – Graduation from any recognized university and knowledge of computer applications.
Age– 18- 40 years of age and relaxation for SC and ST as per the government rule.
A candidate should have knowledge of speaking, writing, and reading of any of the two local languages, Bengali or Kokborok.
The candidate should have PRTC; it is mandatory.

iii) Structure of a Municipal Corporation/Municipal Council/Nagar Panchayat.
iv) Urban Planning.
v) Real Estate Regulatory Act.
vi) Finance of Urban Local Bodies and revenue rules.
vii) Urban infrastructure and its importance.
viii) Urban poverty, unemployment, and related programs.
ix) Solid waste management.
x) Tripura Municipal Act, 1994.
xi) Basic statistics (concepts such as mean, median, mode, variance etc.).
xii) Data Planning techniques – Basics of household survey, town planning, land use, socio-economic survey.
2. General Knowledge and History of Tripura State (20 Marks)
i) Formation of the Tripura state, merger with the Indian Union and creation of the state.
