This plan included Prelims + Mains, integrating both syllabus.

Exam Pattern Overview

Prelims (Phase I):

Quantitative Aptitude – 35 Q

Reasoning Ability – 35 Q

English Language – 30 Q (Qualifying only)

Mains (Phase II):

Reasoning Ability – 30 Q

General Knowledge, Current Affairs – 30 Q

Data Analysis & Interpretation – 30 Q

Insurance & Financial Awareness – 30 Q

Descriptive (English) – 2 Q (Essay & Letter Writing)

I have divided these 40 days into 4 phases, which are as follows,

Phase 1: Foundation (Day 1–10)

Phase 2: Speed & Accuracy (Day 11–20)

Phase 3: Advanced Prep (Day 21–30)

Phase 4: Revision + Full-Length Tests (Day 31–40)

Daily Routine to clear LIC AAO

I assume you will study for 6 hours daily. If not, then you can adjust these hours as per your convenience.

Morning (2 hrs): Revision of Quant formulas + Reasoning shortcuts

Afternoon (2 hrs): Current Affairs + Insurance/Financial Awareness

Evening (2 hrs): Descriptive writing + English grammar

Daily Mock Test (1 hr): Full-length (Prelims & Mains alternately)

Mock Analysis (30 min): Note mistakes & revise weak areas

Phase 1: Foundation (Day 1–10)

The main goal in this phase is to build the basics in Quant, Reasoning, English + start Current Affairs.

Daily Routine (5–6 hrs):

Quant (2 hrs): Arithmetic (Percentages, Ratio, Profit & Loss, SI/CI, Averages)

Reasoning (1.5 hrs): Puzzles, Syllogism, Inequality, Blood Relation

English (1 hr): Reading Comprehension, Error Spotting, Cloze Test

Current Affairs (30 min): Last 3 months

Mock (30 min): Topic test (Quant/Reasoning alternately)

Phase 2: Speed & Accuracy (Day 11–20)

Goal is to Strengthen Prelims + Start Mains (GK + Insurance).

Daily Routine:

Quant (2 hrs): Data Interpretation, Simplification, Number Series

Reasoning (2 hrs): Seating Arrangement, Puzzle (Linear, Circular), Coding-Decoding

English (1 hr): Para Jumbles, Sentence Improvement

GK & Insurance (1 hr): Static GK, Banking & Insurance Awareness

Mock Test (30 min): Full-length Prelims

Phase 3: Advanced Prep (Day 21–30)

Goal is to Mains Focus + Mixed Revision for Prelims.

Daily Routine:

Reasoning (1.5 hrs): High-level puzzles, Input-Output, Critical Reasoning

Quant/DI (2 hrs): Caselet DI, Missing DI, Data Sufficiency

English (1 hr): Descriptive writing practice (Essay/Letter)

GK & Current Affairs (1.5 hrs): Last 5 months + Insurance/Finance schemes

Mock Test (30 min): Alternate Prelims & Mains sectional

Phase 4: Revision + Full-Length Tests (Day 31–40)

The goal is to Exam Simulation + Weak Area Improvement.

Daily Routine:

Morning (2 hrs): Revision of Quant formulas + Reasoning shortcuts

Afternoon (2 hrs): Current Affairs + Insurance/Financial Awareness

Evening (2 hrs): Descriptive writing + English grammar

Daily Mock Test (1 hr): Full-length (Prelims & Mains alternately)
